The apartment is a great base for having fun and exploring Funchal. It is particularly good due to its close proximity to the airport and city center. , the location is close to central Funchal, with bus stops, restaurants, grocery shopping.

Everything was perfect and I got ironing for free. Bed was exceptionally comfortable and there were a flat-screen TV with cable channels, climate control and a microwave oven in the room...

We had a such great stay in Funchal so close to the airport & city center, central Funchal in about 20 minutes, and grocery stores. Its central location was convenient to an open air sea water pool.

We were warmly welcomed by the host who provided a thorough explanation of everything, the room had beautiful sea views and a separate bedroom, and the location was excellent, especially being close to a bus stop.

We stayed at Monumental Plaza for 9 nights and had a perfect stay. The apartment was modern and functional, with a balcony overlooking the sea. The area was filled with amenities and had a vibrant atmosphere in the evenings. The location, just a pleasant 30-minute walk from the center, made it an ideal choice for us. Special mention to Dalia and Maria, who made our stay even better with their exceptional service. We would definitely consider staying here again next time.

Our apartment was mind-blowingly clean and beautifully furnished, perfect for our two-week stay. The staff were super friendly and always ready to help. The location was jaw-droppingly fantastic - just a 5-minute walk to the pier, shopping center and a gym. We loved the abundance of restaurants and pubs right at our doorstep. It was also a delightful 30-minute scenic walk to the city center, passing by lovely shops and restaurants along the way. We had a truly amazing stay!

The apartment was so well-equipped, it had everything from an oven to a stovetop. The property even had a hairdresser's and business centre, as if I needed those services during my luxurious stay.

Oh, the beds. The hard mattresses reminded me of European preference.

monumental plaza by petit hotels in funchal exceeded our expectations. the super clean and brilliantly equipped apartment had brand new appliances. the location was perfect, with a 6 minute walk to a public lido and sea swimming spot, a 4 minute walk to a supermarket, and frequent buses into town. the host, dalia, was incredibly helpful and always available for any questions or directions.
